Path of Life (in the wilderness)
I have been on such a beautiful journey with Jesus.
He started with the Exodus of my heart. I was in bondage. Under a man who possessed darkness. I felt like my prayers couldnt get out of the white shiplap walls. I was in slavery in my own life. I didnt know what to pray because life was so hazy.
He stepped into my Egypt, He took me by the hand, He tore apart the sea, He lead me through the deep, and held back the waters for my release.
He rescued me from a life lived for me. A purposeless life.
I found rescue, deliverance, redemption and restoration.
But Just as God led the Isrealities out of exile into the wilderness, so he did with me.
Id open the Word and He give me His living breathing Spirit and fill me with his promises that never fail.
But what ensued was The Lord’s Mercy and His answered Promises,
“Therefore, behold, I will allure her,
and bring her into the wilderness,
and speak tenderly to her.
15And there I will give her her vineyards
and make the Valley of Achore a door of hope.
And there she shall answer as in the days of her youth,
as at the time when she came out of the land of Egypt.
It was while we were singing “Beautiful Jesus,” I realized the wilderness that I thought would be so terrifying has been a place where I have come to know His steadfast love.
Then He gave me Joel 2
hen the LORD became jealous for his land
and had pity on his people.
19The LORD answered and said to his people,
“Behold, I am sending to you
grain, wine, and oil,
and you will be satisfied;
and I will no more make you
a reproach among the nations
21“Fear not, O land;
be glad and rejoice,
for the LORD has done great things!
22Fear not, you beasts of the field,
for the pastures of the wilderness are green;
the tree bears its fruit;
the fig tree and vine give their full yield.
“The threshing floors shall be full of grain;
the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.
25I will restored to you the years
that the swarming locust has eaten,
the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter,
my great army, which I sent among you.
26“You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied,
and praise the name of the LORD your God,
who has dealt wondrously with you.
And my people shall never again be put to shame.
27You shall know that I am in the midst of Israel,
and that I am the LORD your God and there is none else.
And my people shall never again be put to shame.
28e “And it shall come to pass afterward,
that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh;
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your old men shall dream dreams,
and your young men shall see visions.
29Even on the male and female servants
in those days I will pour out my Spirit.
30“And I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke. 31The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and awesome day of the LORD comes. 32And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the LORD has said, and among the survivors shall be those whom the LORD calls.
So Isaiah 35:

The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad;
the desert shall rejoice and blossom like the crocus;
2 it shall blossom abundantly
and rejoice with joy and singing.
The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it,
the majesty of Carmel and Sharon.
They shall see the glory of the Lord,
the majesty of our God.
3 Strengthen the weak hands,
and make firm the feeble knees.
4 Say to those who have an anxious heart,
“Be strong; fear not!
Behold, your God
will come with vengeance,
with the recompense of God.
He will come and save you.”
For waters break forth in the wilderness,

and the thirsty ground springs of water;
in the haunt of jackals, where they lie down,
the grass shall become reeds and rushes.

nor shall any ravenous beast come up on it;
they shall not be found there,
but the redeemed shall walk there.
10 And the ransomed of the Lord shall return

everlasting joy shall be upon their heads;
they shall obtain gladness and joy,
and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
I am in the woods. A place of quiet. Only birds and a quiet stream. Sometimes a deer will remind me of Psalm 23.
To gaze upon beauty. To dwell with Him there. Its safe. Its restful. Its the place I was alwasy trying to get to when I was going through divorce and now my lines have fallen in pleasant places. I have time to drink in the Presence of the Lord. I feel so settled in my heart. He is walking with me through the woods. showing me the Path to Life. When we get to a path that looks beautiful and easy. He points out what I couldnt initially see. Its comfort,
Sacrifice is the way to life.

Its beautiful the common theme and my favorite theme song has been I just want someone to rescue me. Its been my dreams and visions since I was little.
When I look into your face I see Delight now. Its not that Delight was not there in the past, I just couldn't really see His face. I wasn't worthy. But I see now that
