Open when: you feel overwhelmed
My prayer for your today: For you to have Contentment
O God, I praise You that You are intimately acquainted with all her ways. I thank you that you have gone before her and followed her and that You placed your hand of blessing on her head. This knowledge overwhelms me with gratitude. I thank you. Right now, you, the Master weaver, are forming her personality and emotional makeup, weaving them together in my womb. Wonderful are Your works. You know all about my baby. You are knitting together her body, soul, and spirit. As a crafter creates intricate embroidery stitches, you are superintending every detail of her beautiful design. You have prerecorded all the days set before her on this earth. Already you are preparing her portion and her cup. O God you are great. I praise you. You have created who she is to be but also what she is to do. You have created her to fulfill a unique plan ordained especially for her. Truly my daughter is fearfully and wonderfully made. I praise you for your awesome work.

Isnt it comforting to know that God knew each of us before He created us? He planned what each of us would look like, who our parents would be, if and who we would marry, and how many children we would have. Before we could know God, He cared for us, He hid each of us away as a treasure until He brought us to be. God says that He fashioned each of us with awe and wonder.
The almighty creator of the universe took personal, intimate interest in you before your own mother knew about you.
In thinking and praying about how I will help you navigate in this crazy world:
God has taught me this:
You will never really enjoy other people, you will never have stable emotions, you will never lead a life of godly contentment, you will never conquer jealousy and love others as you should until you thank God for making you the way He did.
God shaped our personality before we were born- our desires, longings, and personality. He created not only your body by also your emotional makeup. Sometimes I feel like God made a mistake when He created my personality, because I am self conscious about my forgetfulness, etc. God wants us to praise Him for His workmanship in creating us.
Psalm 139:16 "Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be"
This means that the Almighty Creator of the universe prepared a purpose for us to walk in. All of your abilities- and your disabilities- were created to fit the unique plan God has for your life.
The familiar passage, Proverbs 31_ a portrait of a woman of character and wisdom/ a godly wife- you read this and what comes to mind? NOTHING about her appearance, NOTHING about her personality. but about her spiritual character. Not because she was up at dawn, working into the night or because she sewed their clothes organized the home and took food to the poor. She was praised because she knew that God was the Blessed Controller of her life. She know that God expected her to make godly choices to rule over herself. The proverbs 31 woman was not controlled by circumstances and the demands of her family, but she was ruler of her attitudes, her time and her schedule. Her relationship with God was central. All that she became was a result of her yielding to His sovereign control.
Even though I dont know what is in store for you yet, I know that I will love the woman that Jesus is shaping you to be.
Keep the joy,
Mom
