Righteousness

Works over words lives over proclamation

Because the beauty of your lives The way that we live according to God‘s moral law reflect some thing beautiful that draws in even as it repels

The moral law of God is all about Gods Glory  And your joy- God is about your delight despite whatever our compulsions are.

god is about beauty that compels

Order that draws in

flourishing not floundering that people look at and say wow there is a God

marveling at the fact that we are not from here.

live lives of beauty and the boldness to say this is

live in such a way that shows the moral vision of god is more beautiful than the tyrannical wickedness of my flesh

to love people so well so consistently but

prophetic living and prophetic acting

by the grace of God i have woke up to what a terrible god i am

i can make a mess of my life, my bowl cant hold any more to satisfy me for a second

the shattering of my life is a result of sin. and sin by definition I am a better god and even if all we are left with is powder- god is at work in all of us.

there is beauty in submission. and flourishing and joy. that brokenness

ill put you back together ill lead you, ill make you beautiful if you will stop trying to rule and reign the universe I will for you but as long as you try ill let you try how much more are you going to bare that you don't have to bare!

Why choose righteousness:

“Yes, God raised Jesus to life! And since God’s Spirit of Resurrection lives in you, he will also raise your dying body to life by the same Spirit that breathes life into you! For when you live controlled by the flesh, you are about to die. But if the life of the Spirit puts to death the corrupt ways of the flesh, we then taste his abundant life. The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. And you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,” leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,” enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as he rises up within us, our spirits join him in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!” For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!” The entire universe is standing on tiptoe, yearning to see the unveiling of God’s glorious sons and daughters! all creation longs for freedom from its slavery to decay and to experience with us the wonderful freedom coming to God’s children. And it’s not just creation. We who have already experienced the firstfruits of the Spirit also inwardly groan as we passionately long to experience our full status as God’s sons and daughters—including our physical bodies being transformed. And in a similar way, the Holy Spirit takes hold of us in our human frailty to empower us in our weakness. For example, at times we don’t even know how to pray, or know the best things to ask for. But the Holy Spirit rises up within us to super-intercede on our behalf, pleading to God with emotional sighs too deep for words. God, the searcher of the heart, knows fully our longings, yet he also understands the desires of the Spirit, because the Holy Spirit passionately pleads before God for us, his holy ones, in perfect harmony with God’s plan and our destiny. So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together for good, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose. For God has proved his love by giving us his greatest treasure, the gift of his Son. And since God freely offered him up as the sacrifice for us all, he certainly won’t withhold from us anything else he has to give.”

“Moses wrote long ago about the need to obey every part of the law in order to be declared right with God: “The one who obeys these things must always live by them.” But we receive the faith-righteousness that speaks an entirely different message: “Don’t for a moment think you need to climb into the heavens to find the Messiah and bring him down, or to descend into the underworld to bring him up from the dead.” But the faith-righteousness we receive speaks to us in these words of Moses: “God’s living message is very close to you, as close as your own heart beating in your chest and as near as the tongue in your mouth.” The heart that believes in him receives the gift of the righteousness of God—and then the mouth confesses, resulting in salvation. And it’s true: “Everyone who calls on the Lord’s name will experience new life.” And how can the message be proclaimed if messengers have yet to be sent? That’s why the Scriptures say: How welcome is the arrival of those proclaiming the joyful news of peace and of good things to come! And Isaiah the fearless prophet dared to declare: “Those who found me weren’t even seeking me. I manifested myself before those who weren’t even asking to know me!” Yet regarding Israel Isaiah says: “With love I have held out my hands day after day, offering myself to this unbelieving and stubborn people!””

“Everything we could ever need for life and godliness has already been deposited in us by his divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing him who has called us by name and invited us to come to him through a glorious manifestation of his goodness. As a result of this, he has given you magnificent promises that are beyond all price, so that through the power of these tremendous promises we can experience partnership with the divine nature, by which you have escaped the corrupt desires that are of the world.”
