How do we navigate?

 Last week I made the mistake of saying something out of anger: it was subtle but I can tell it stuck with them.

Brecken was worried about hurting her dad‘s feelings by not wanting to see him that day.

I snapped and said “you don’t have to worry about his feelings because he doesn’t have any.” (Which is very true for a narcissist) I quickly said my job is to take care of your feelings, but you don’t take care of our feelings. 

Well, this morning, Raleigh said, “why did you marry him if he doesn’t have feelings”

I thought that was very intuitive for little Raleigh.
